Why You Should Stop Being BC

Not Now, I'm Busy
If time and money were not a factor in your life, what would you be doing and where would you be today?

What if there's actually a chance for you to eliminate time and money as factors in what you can and cannot do in life?

Will you take it or will you let you sub-conscious mind to reject such foolish idea?

You may not realize it, but the way you manage your time and money can make you poor or rich.

Would you agree?

You should.

Because how you manage your time and money directs the destination you are headed. Remember that it's your decision, and not your situation that will determine your position.

Lame excuses would include They're rich that's why they have a lot of time to make more money!

Have you heard that line?

Some people often say that as if the rich had an extra 24 hours a day. They seem to have forgotten that we all have 24 hours in any given day!

Suppose you're using 8 hours to work, and another 8 hours to sleep (I doubt it) and 4 hours to prepare for work or to do the unnecessary things you love to do such as liking the posts you really don't like in Facebook, posting what you had for dinner (nobody actually cares about what you eat by the way), hitting the gym (and then drinking your frappe later), watching your favorite tele-serye (about sisters who fight for the same guy), and a lot of non-essential things go on.

But what about the remaining 2 to 4 hours?

What about that spare time?

How do you use it?

Do you spend it wisely..or do you simply waste it?

Oh wait! Do you even know that you have some spare time at all?

How do you manage your spare time?

      A. make more money
      B. waste money
      C. waste time

Answer: BC

Go Away! I'm Busy
I know a lot of people who are BC. In fact they love to be BC. That's why when they're invited for a business opportunity, they simply say I'm BC. Or when they finally found a good earning opportunity but they find it challenging for them, they become BC.

So instead of making good use of their spare time to make more money, they waste time and money by going to some places just to
let time pass by doing nothing while spending their extra money to buy the things they need to let time pass by. They are very busy doing things they don't need to do to avoid doing things they're supposed to be doing.

How about you?

Are you BC?

If you just use this time to do something more meaningful and productive, it might just give you an extra 8 hours a day!

How?

By doing your passion and making it an income-generating passion.

If you love to post updates on your Facebook wall each time, then why don't you try blogging instead? At least you'll do your FB friends a big favor by not bombarding their news feed with your not-so-interesting posts about your meals, outfits and tantrums. Plus, you'll also get an idea on how much people really like what you do every day since you'll see the statistics of your blog via page views.

Start a side-line or a part-time business. Become a freelancer. If you love to post your photos, then why not do on-line advertising (especially when you have a huge number of followers)?

If you love to cook, then why not start selling them at your office? If you're good at selling, why not sell insurance or pre-need plans? If you're a great programmer, why not develop applications or web pages to sell? You can even try doing on-line jobs via 199 Jobs and oDesk.

But how could spending your spare time wisely give you an extra 8 hours a day?

Because you might just hit a job or a business that could allow you to earn more money...enough to make you quit your 8-hour regular job and pursue your passion!

Remember that you're using your 8-hour regular job to survive. So use your spare time to fulfill your dreams. Because working to survive is different with working to fulfill your dreams.

When people are confronted with such idea, they simply bark at you for what they think is an all-dreams-all-money-boring way to live life. Ironically, these same people were the ones who work hard all their lives to earn money! They pretend that money is not that important to them.

Are you one of them? Here, I've compiled a list of the usual responses. Go pick the line that suits you best:
  • It simply won't work!
  • That's too hard!
  • It's complicated!
  • You should use your free time to relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
  • You should not delay gratifying yourself!
  • I don't need another job.
  • I'll try, but not now, maybe later.

I don't know about you. But I'd rather work hard now for the next 5 years and achieve my dreams and be able to save 8 hours a day for the rest of my life and spend it with the people I value the most than to work hard all my life just to survive.

Success requires sacrifice because there is no such thing as overnight success. Ask Henry Sy.

Friend, stop wasting your time and money. Change the things you do in your spare time.

Make good use of it to make more money.

Don't be BC.

My sentiments exactly. I even wished I started earlier in investing. But I think I have enough time pa naman to grow my money. :)
